Spring Blessings!
Today is the day to banish the season of winter and prepare for spring! Gather your heavy blankets, drapes, and velvets and store them safely away. Clean house! Adorn your home with pots of flowering bulbs, open the windows allowing fresh air to dance with your newly washed and hung crocheted lace curtains, make your beds with crisp white linens, and several light layers of blankets in shades of lilac, blues, greens and lavender. Wash the windows and hang crystals to gather the light, casting rainbows throughout the room!
In the following days, begin to gather spring herbs, greens and bitters for a cleansing salad. Eat as many fresh fruits and vegetables as are in season, especially asparagus. Think bright, happy thoughts.... Put away your winter clothing, in favor of spring dresses, sweaters and scarves. It's a lovely time to purchase new shoes, to add a spring to your step!
Till your garden, even if just a small patch of earth outside your door. Plant flower seeds or purchase starter pots of flowers. Think peaceful thoughts of love and blessing as you prepare your body, home and life for fresh, new beginnings!
