Daughter of the Earth, I come to you with bright blessings,

Rejoice! When you awaken, pay attention to the sunrise and follow its journey across the sky throughout the day. Allow the light of the day to warm your spirits, as it shines into the rooms of your home. Step outdoors and pay attention to the wind. What direction does it blow from? 

Consider the ancient art of weather prophecy:

East-      Keep thoughts positive; be compassionate, patient and kind.

South-    Make a deposit in your savings account for a rainy day.

West-     Bountiful harvest; dreams/goals manifesting soon!

North-    Good fortune; abundance. Open your heart and home to others.

This is a good time to gather with others, light incense and candles, eat oranges and enjoy the sweetness of life! Perhaps, you'll want to order some Chinese take-out and employ the playful use of chopsticks as you eat Dim Sum for kinship and blessings.
